Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how INTELIQ Software Engineering handles information submitted through this website, in particular through the project discovery form at /start and through direct contact by email or WhatsApp.

It describes only what this website actually does. Where a practice has not been formally established, this policy says so rather than implying otherwise.

Information we collect

The project discovery form asks for the following information. Only your name, email address and a description of what you are trying to achieve are required; everything else is optional.

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• A telephone or WhatsApp number, where you choose to provide one.
• Your organisation, sector and country, where you choose to provide them.
• Your project objective, the obstacles you describe, who the system is intended for, the data involved, how you would measure success, and any additional information you supply.
• A single optional project brief or supporting document that you attach, together with its filename and size.

The form does not ask for budget figures, payment details, identity documents or any special categories of personal information. Please do not submit them.

When you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive whatever information you include in that message. WhatsApp conversations take place on WhatsApp's own platform and are subject to its terms and privacy practices.

As with any website, limited technical information — such as request and error information generated while pages and submissions are served — may be produced during normal operation of the hosting and backend infrastructure. This website does not install third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not use cookies for tracking or profiling. Browser storage is used only within the private administrative console, to keep a signed-in operator's session.

How information is collected

• Through the project discovery form at /start, when you submit it.
• Through direct email to our published contact address.
• Through WhatsApp, when you start a conversation using the contact control on this website.
• Through ordinary technical operation of the website when pages are requested.

Why we process this information

We process the information you submit in order to:

• receive and review project enquiries;
• understand and evaluate the requirements you describe;
• respond to you and continue the conversation about your enquiry;
• keep appropriate internal records of enquiries and how they were handled;
• operate, maintain and secure this website and the systems behind it.

Enquiry information is not used to send marketing or promotional messages. If INTELIQ later introduces a newsletter or similar communications, consent for that would be requested separately and would never be a condition of submitting an enquiry.

Project briefs and uploaded files

A project brief you attach may contain business, technical or organisational information about your organisation. You supply it voluntarily, and you decide what it contains.

Please attach only what is genuinely useful for evaluating your project, and avoid including personal data about other people, credentials, or confidential material that is not necessary at the enquiry stage.

Uploaded files are stored in a private storage bucket that is not publicly readable and not published on the website. Files are not attached to outbound notification email. Access from the internal administrative console is through short-lived links generated only for an authorised, signed-in operator, and those retrievals are recorded in the console's audit log.

Service providers

This website relies on a small number of infrastructure providers to function:

• Supabase — database hosting and private file storage for submitted enquiries and project briefs.
• Resend — delivery of the internal notification email and the acknowledgement email sent to you.
• Lovable — hosting and serving of the website itself.

These providers process information on our behalf so that the website can operate. They do not own the information you submit, and we do not sell it or make it available for advertising purposes.

Providers may operate infrastructure outside your country. We have not established a specific transfer mechanism beyond the terms offered by those providers, and we do not claim one here.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a website of this kind. Submitted enquiries are written to the database only by privileged server-side code; the public website has no direct privileged access to enquiry records. The file storage bucket is private. The administrative console requires an account issued by INTELIQ, applies role-based restrictions, and records administrative actions in an audit log.

No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If you believe information has been submitted in error or that an issue affects your enquiry, please contact us.

Retention

We have not adopted a fixed retention schedule for enquiry records. Information is retained only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, for legitimate business and record-keeping requirements, and for any applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to delete an enquiry and any file you attached, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights in relation to the information we hold about you, which may include asking for a copy of it, asking for it to be corrected, asking for it to be deleted, or objecting to or restricting certain processing.

To make such a request, or to ask any question about this policy, contact chizongo@inteliq.site. We may need to confirm which enquiry a request relates to before acting on it.
